Antique Woods of Louisiana

Our beams come from all over the world. We recover wood from textile mills from the east coast, train depots and train trestles from the west coast, old sugar mills and plantation homes from the south, and sinker logs in rivers that have been lost for decades or more. Hand hewn beams are pieces that were hand cut and carved with axes before saws existed, and come from old barns throughout America. Our building methods have been passed down through generations, and our exceptionally skilled artisans are among very few trained in the traditional and highly specialized art of beam construction.
